Her Heart for Grief Ministry
Melody Wells is called to walk with people through grief in all its forms. Raised in a pastor’s home, she developed deep compassion as she witnessed families navigate loss and life transitions. She understands that grief extends beyond death—touching divorce, broken relationships, and unexpected change—and she meets each person with tenderness, honoring every story and creating space for healing.
A Life Dedicated to Helping Others Heal
Grief ministry is not just what Melody does—it’s how she lives. Through Grief Share, personal coaching, and pastoral counseling, she has supported hundreds of individuals, offering a safe, judgment-free place to be seen and heard. She gently guides people from pain toward healing, renewed identity, and restored purpose, leading groups year-round with both practical tools and spiritual care.
Education, Experience, and Life
With degrees in ministry, counseling, and theology, and as a doctoral candidate in pastoral counseling, Melody brings both spiritual depth and professional excellence. She is also a certified grief coach, Licensed Practical Nurse, and credentialed minister, allowing her to care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. She is the author of Living Beyond Grief and continues to create resources to help others heal. Melody shares life with her husband Kevin, their children, grandchildren, and their beloved miniature schnauzer, Oliver—finding joy in simple, peaceful moments. Her Heart for Grief Ministry.
